Partner with Step Up to provide sustainable, high-impact math tutoring for your 3rd-6th grade students. Students will work 1:1 with a trained tutor to develop key foundational math skills and build math confidence.
Math Tutoring with Step Up
We provide 1:1 online high-impact tutoring to 3rd-6th grade students in math. Students work for at least 90 minutes weekly with a sustained tutor to develop:

Tutors utilize high quality curricula and personalized learning pathways to work towards grade level math proficiency through building conceptual understanding and foundational math knowledge.

Students improve their relationship with math and develop habits for success so that they will be adequately prepared for middle school math.

Tutors engage with teachers to ensure that tutoring is aligned with classroom learning.

Our Program Models
We offer three models for delivering 1:1, virtual high-impact tutoring.
At Home
Students and tutors meet 2x/week for 45-minute sessions from their home
After School
Students and tutors meet 2x/week for 45-minute sessions while onsite for an after-school program
In-school
Students meet tutors 3x/week for 30-45 minute sessions during the school day
Our Tutors
Step Up tutors are over 18, screened via background check, and interviewed by us.
Tutors are provided with thorough training,along with consistent support from our staff throughout their tutoring lifecycle.
Tutors are mission-driven adult volunteers and college students, including students working as tutors as part of Work-Study or Californians for All College Corps.
What You Need to Partner With Us
Provide students with access to computers/devices.
Designate a staff member from your school to serve as a point person with our team.
Support enrollment by disseminating information to parents and teachers.
