We seek to close the opportunity gap by delivering 1-on-1, high-impact tutoring online to students from underserved communities.
Our process…
We enroll students grades 3-6 via partnerships with districts such as Los Angeles Unified
Volunteers from around the country apply on our website and complete our online tutor training course
Tutors and students are matched based on their schedules and compatibility
Each matched pair meets twice a week for 45-minute sessions, during which they follow a math or literacy curriculum tailored to the student’s individual needs
The tutor serves as a mentor to their student and fosters a fun learning environment
