Let’s answer some of your questions...

Who are we?

We are a California based non-profit organization seeking to close the education gap. We are currently looking for school districts that work with under-resourced youth with the goal of supporting as many students as possible without putting any added burden on teachers!

How it works?

  1. Fill out this interest form.

  2. We will contact you to figure out how we can best support you. We can be as involved in your classrooms as you would like.

  3. Invite your students (and/or their parents) to opt in to our program.

  4. We will let you know which students sign up and provide a link for teachers to communicate with their tutors

  5. And that's it!

Some questions you might have:

Is all of your tutoring done online or is some of it done in person?

All the tutoring is done online using Zoom.

What are the sessions like?

We try to keep the sessions fun and engaging. We help students understand concepts covered in class, play educational games, and talk about life and goals. Our sessions are twice a week, 45 minutes each and are focused on math.

Are your tutors background checked?

Yes! Our tutors are required to complete background checks.

Who are the tutors?

Our volunteer tutors are college students, recent graduates, professionals, and retirees trained to be effective online tutors and mentors.

What if I have more questions?

We will send out more information to districts who fill out the interest form. You can also contact us with a specific question here.
