Who are we?
Step Up Tutoring is a 501(c)(3), non profit organization that provides online academic support and mentorship to children from under-resourced communities. Learn more about our mission and our tutor requirements!
Why recruit?
We have a constant waitlist of students and not enough tutors. Every tutor you recruit is a child helped. By spreading the word, you are supporting under-resourced students across Los Angeles.
How can you recruit?
Have a group (club, organization, company, etc) that you think would love our program? Let’s partner up!
You can also text friends and family about Step Up Tutoring. Send a flyer to any email lists with people that may be interested. Post about us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or any other social media. Anything that you think could help spread the word, please do it! Your goal is simple: more volunteers.
We strongly encourage you to start outreach at your earliest convenience...ideally today! The earlier the better!
